Volunteer with Us

Are you keen to become more involved and contribute to your local community ?

Northside needs volunteers to assist in a variety of ways which best suit your interest and skills.  Volunteering can include:

  • * Supporting clients on a one to one basis during events and activities.
  • * Assisting with shopping, or assisting the driver operate a bus hoist
  • * Being a companion to some very fun and interesting people
  • * Supporting office staff with administration tasks

The benefits of volunteering are immense.  Volunteers expand their own social networks through companionship with other people in the community. By volunteering just a small amount of your  time, you can also expand your own work skills, achieve greater mental and physical health and feel a sense of personal fulfillment.

Student Placements and Internships

Northside is also happy to host University student placements and work with the university to design a program which enhances the students action learning in a real work environment.
